Frequently Asked Questions
Anyone with a free, verified SJTN Care account can send referrals. You do not need to work for SJTN Care or have an HCP account. Sign in or create an account, verify your email, then open Settings → References.
You can send up to 1,000 accepted invitations in total per account. This is a lifetime limit, not a monthly allowance. Cancelled invitations still count; duplicate or rejected invitations do not use another slot.
The person you invite should use the invited email address for their SJTN Care account and verify it. Their HCP registration is then tracked through that account. An existing verified general account can also be linked.
Only one active referral can claim an email. Cancelling releases it so anyone can send a new invitation; the cancelled referral earns no credit. Self-referrals and existing HCPs are ineligible.
The person you invite receives an invitation, and you receive a confirmation and an HCP-registration update. Email updates stop there. HR records employment, reward eligibility and payment separately; you can track those in your dashboard. Email preferences are respected.
Earn CAD $250 per qualifying referral. The referred healthcare professional must be hired by SJTN Care and complete 160 paid work hours. HR verifies those hours against a payroll record. Payment is due within 30 days after verification; your dashboard shows the due date and payment status. Registration or hiring alone does not qualify. Any amount already recorded for an earlier invitation is preserved.
Yes. Import a CSV or vCard file from your address book, or connect Google or Microsoft when that option is available. Review and select recipients before sending. Importing contacts never sends invitations automatically.
